This Policy explains how Digital Consulting Plus uses cookies and similar technologies on digitalconsultingplus.com and how users can manage their preferences.
3.2.Analytics
Help us understand website engagement and improve performance, navigation, and content quality. They measure: page views, interaction events, traffic sources, campaign channels, aggregate behavior, and loading speed. Where required by applicable law, these technologies remain inactive until the user grants explicit consent.
3.3.Functional
Enable enhanced third-party features and interface personalizations, such as meeting scheduling calendars, multimedia players, maps, interactive widgets, or embedded external tools. These tools may require user consent depending on the vendor and jurisdiction.
3.4.Marketing
May be deployed to measure campaign attribution, build audience segments, or customize advertising when DCP deploys marketing tracking tools. Publishing standard: if DCP does not currently deploy marketing trackers, this category may display as inactive or be omitted from the modal until an active integration occurs.
DCP displays a preferences mechanism where required to allow users to: accept all optional categories, reject optional categories, configure individual categories, save preferences, and subsequently modify their choices.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent where applicable legislation recognizes technical necessity as a lawful basis.
The consent management panel includes at minimum:
- Necessary: always active;
- Analytics: toggleable on/off;
- Functional: toggleable on/off where applicable;
- Marketing: toggleable on/off where active.
Available actions: Reject optional; Save preferences; and Accept all.
Where a category requires affirmative consent, its associated external scripts and tracking endpoints are blocked from loading until the user grants explicit permission.
DCP may retain technical evidence of user consent choices, including: accepted categories, policy version, timestamp, and a pseudonymous identifier when technically required. This record serves to enforce and demonstrate compliance.
Prior to public release, DCP maintains a technical inventory of cookies and tracking technologies actively deployed. The inventory records: name, provider, purpose, category, expiration period, and classification (first-party or third-party).
Tools that are not actively deployed must not be listed. In our current technical architecture, local storage is used for consent preferences (dcp_consent_v1) and UI state, and Google Analytics 4 is gated behind strict prior opt-in consent. No third-party advertising trackers are deployed.
If a user interacts with an embedded third-party integration, the third party may set cookies or storage technologies in accordance with its own privacy policy.
DCP will update this Policy when deployed technologies, third-party providers, or applicable statutory requirements change.
The website footer permanently features the interactive “Cookie Preferences” button, allowing users to reopen the modal at any time to modify or revoke previously selected settings.
Inquiries regarding this Policy may be sent to info@digitalconsultingplus.com with the suggested subject line: “Cookies / Technical Privacy”.
